NSC Select

This initiative marks a commitment to elevating NSC’s competitive edge while continuing to foster a strong sense of community.

NSC’s select teams are designed for players ready to challenge themselves at the next levels of youth competition, and feature additional weekly training sessions, more advanced training, exposure to more competitive teams in league play, competition in ENY State Cup or Challenge Cup, and additional tournaments outside of upstate New York.

Depending upon the competitive level of a Select Team, league play opportunities can include EDP Upstate United or other EDP North Atlantic leagues, which present the opportunity for a pathway to promotion.  For example, NSC’s current U15G Select team qualified for United States Youth Soccer (USYS) National League North Atlantic Division for Spring 2026.  Both USYS NL and ENY State Cup provide a pathway to USYS Nationals.
