Dave Bundy Soccer Club House – On October 6, 2002, the Town of Niskayuna and the Niskayuna Soccer Club dedicated and named the new Soccer Club House in Honor of Dave Bundy, long time Physical Education teacher in the Niskayuna Schools, founder of the Niskayuna Soccer Club, and pioneer in youth soccer for the Capital District. Town Supervisor Luke Smith and Niskayuna Soccer Club President Jon McKinney surprised Coach Bundy with the dedication at the club’s annual picnic at the Zenner Rd Soccer Complex. A sign for the club house was unveiled and a plaque was presented to Coach Bundy by the Club and the Town. The day was made even more special for Coach Bundy by the return of many of his former club and high school players to play in a game honoring the Coach.
