The Niskayuna Soccer U6 Shooting Stars Program is a 6-week, one-hour-per-week soccer development program designed for children under six years old. The program aims to introduce young players to soccer in a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. Each session will be supported by Beestera and Niskayuna Soccer Affiliated Players Coaches. Families will pay a one-time program fee of $150 per 6 week session. This initiative provides a high-quality early soccer experience that builds foundational skills and fosters excitement for the game in younger players. Each 1-hour session will follow a consistent and engaging format:
• WARM-UP: Fun movement and coordination games
• SKILL STATIONS: Dribbling, passing, and small ball-control activities
• MINI-GAMES: 3v3 or 4v4 play focused on teamwork and fun
• WRAP-UP: Team talk, positive reinforcement, and group celebration
PROGRAM OVERVIEW AND GOALS
• Two sessions per year, each 6 weeks
