The annual Niskayuna Soccer Classic tournament is scheduled for June 1-2, 2019. Not only is this event a great opportunity for our players to compete at home on our fields, but also to raise money for the club. Fundraising efforts such as the tournament allow the club to keep costs down and the game of soccer affordable for all families and we need you to make it happen! All funds raised through team registration, concessions, T-shirt sales, shootout contests, sponsorships, etc., go directly to support field maintenance, coaching, turf time, equipment, and much more.
Each family is required to contribute two (2) hours of volunteer time per child, with a max of four (4) hours per family, regardless of whether or not players are participating in the tournament. Although certain non-tournament volunteering roles can exempt families from the tournament volunteering commitment, we always need help - please volunteer in any way you can!
Any appointed individual age 16+ can fulfill the hours. The NSC is a 501(c)3 organization, and hours will count towards student volunteer hour requirements.
